Goal: Congregations and circuits start and support new missions and ministries to reach unchurched people.

New Song Community Church, an innovative ministry of the LCMS that currently meets at  the Homestead Elementary School in Aurora, located at 2830 Hillsboro Blvd. The congregation chartered in 2005 and called Rev. River of Life Lutheran Mission is located at 24053 S. Municipal Drive in Channahon, IL. The congregation is being served on a part-time basis by Rev. Clarence Mankin who is pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pontiac, IL. The telephone number for River of Life is 815/467-0641. This congregation is a mission of the Northern Illinois District.

Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church is located at 1180 W. First Street in Braidwood, IL. Rev. Jason Zobel is the pastor and can be reached at 815-458-9445. Please visit their website. A related ministry is the Shepherds Flock Preschool.

Family in Faith Christian Church is located at 1480 Bloomingdale Rd. in Glendale Heights. Rev. Stephen Kass is the pastor and can be reached at 630-653-5030.            Please visit their website.

Community of Faith Lutheran Church is located at 3010 Solon Rd. in Spring Grove, IL. They are currently without a pastor. You can contact the church at 815-675-1074.

Grace Lutheran Church Worships at 108 Main Street in Peotone, IL. This mission of     the Northern Illinois District is currently vacant and being served by Rev. New Mission Development 

Winnebago Lutheran Mission is a recent mission being developed in partnership of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Rockford, IL. The congregation is currently being served by Rev. Robert Rub Jr. Rev. Rub can be reached at 815-358-4759 or by email.

Center for US Missions 

The Center for US Missions is located at 1530 Concordia West in Irvine, CA. The mission statement of CUSM is Equipping God’s People to Multiply the Harvest. Rev. Mike Ruhl is director of the center which offers a wide variety of training and education opportunities. Please visit their website.
