Refocus reminds
us that God is at work teaching and equipping us
throughout a lifetime of ministry and service.
It reminds us how God alone calls, equips and
prepares us for service to Him, service to the
Church and service to the world. By the power
of the Gospel, He revitalizes individuals and uses
them to renew congregations in the service of the
Gospel - with an eye to the harvest which Jesus
tells us is ready. Jesus calls us to pray for
workers for the harvest, and Refocus is about God
preparing His workers for harvest work. It is
all about the Gospel and its power in the lives of
people and congregations.
Refocus
is an 18-30
month revitalization process that produces
harvest-focused churches led by church leaders
committed to a vision and the raising up of leaders.
It’s a leadership development process which helps
pastors, leaders and churches bring strategic focus
to their lives and ministries.
The ultimate goal is churches healthy enough to
multiply both small groups and new churches!

Phase 1 – Focusing Leaders
Personal
Renewal
Precedes Congregational Renewal
A
natural inclination for all leaders and churches is
to drift toward
maintenance, the path of least resistance. Focused
Leaders are continually moving away from maintenance
and toward greater alignment with the missional
heart of God. As a safe-place supportive
environment, Phase One not only develops focused
leaders but also enhances their capacity for
developing others.

Phase 2 – Refocusing Your Church
Congregational Renewal
Leads to a Greater Harvest
Phase
Two of the Refocusing network system picks up right
here Focusing Leaders leaves off. Phase Two develops
strategic leaders who have the capacity to lead
change in their church. In addition, Phase Two will
help leaders implement the personal discoveries made
during Phase One while also empowering them to bring
focus, clarity, and courage to their congregation. |
