The Northern Illinois District works in partnership with Lutheran Church Charities (LCC)    to address the human care needs in northern Illinois. LCC connects needs with resources, working with more than 400 congregations to help Christians make a difference in people’s lives and in God’s Kingdom. The purpose of LCC is to initiate, develop, coordinate, promote and support a unified effort of Christian human care ministry.
