Northern Light, the district newspaper, is published bi-monthly with news about Missouri Synod Lutherans at work in Northern Illinois. The Northern Light is available free in congregations of the Northern Illinois District.  Subscribe here to receive the Northern Light newspaper, free, at home by mail. Parish Resource Connection (PRC) provides event and organizational information of interest to congregations of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in Northern Illinois. New postings are sent out via e-mail the last Tuesday of each month. Postings also are available at the Parish Resource Connection Online until the event date is past. President’s Message goes out regularly with an editorial from President Dan Gilbert and notices of particular significance to pastors and those who provide leadership in vacant congregations.
